San Diego Loyal 2023 Third Shirt
This week we are shining a spotlight on the magnificent San Diego Loyal 2023 third top! The jersey has been nicknamed the “8-Bit” kit, as its design represents the much loved graphic style from the 80s and 90s. The shirt features a beautiful blue to green gradient pattern with a shiny holographic crest and front sponsorship from BluPeak Credit Union. The kit is manufactured by Mexican manufacturer Charley sportswear, who have made some of our favourite kits of 2024 with most coming from Liga MX.
San Diego Loyal SC was founded in 2019 by ex MLS legend Landon Donovan and sports franchise developer Warren Smith. The club did participate in the USL championship, the 2nd tier of the US footballing pyramid from 2020-2023. Unfortunately the 2023 season proved to be the last for San Diego Loyal after they failed to secure a permanent stadium for the following year. The MLS have recently given the green light for a new club, San Diego FC to compete in the MLS for 2025.
