Real Betis 2022/2023 Third Shirt
We are kicking off the first shirt of the week in June with the glorious Real Betis 22/23 third kit! Produced by Danish manufacturer Hummel, this glorious top sports a bright orange base colour along with green on the sides, shoulders and collar. The pattern on the front of the shirt showcases a map of the globe, which was used to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the first ever circumnavigation of the world, in which the voyage ended in Betis’s home city of Seville in Spain.
Real Betis endured an average season in 22/23, finishing in 6th Place in La Liga and exiting the Copa Del Rey during the Round of 16, under ex Manchester City head coach Manuel Pellegrini. Striker Borja Ingesias finished the season as top goal scorer for the side with 15 goals in all competitions.
The name “Betis” is the Roman name for Guadalquivir, which is the river that runs through the heart of Seville. The club was founded 116 years ago and originally wore blue kits, until adopting their famous green and white colours, which matched the ones on the flag of Andaluisa, the region of Spain in which Seville is based in.
