Rangers FC have treated us to an exciting, brand new third shirt for the upcoming SPFL season. The new kit features a bold red and blue abstract design inspired by the lion rampant, which can be found on the royal banner of Scotland. The top is manufactured by British manufacturer Castore and features a smart crew neck collar, with embroidered brand and club badges.
This will be Catore’s 5th season of producing Ranger’s kits and we think this could be the best that they’ve produced. Hopefully the British firm has sorted out some of the “wet look” issues that caused Aston Villa and Wolves to drop the brand as their kit suppliers last season. Unibet also returns for another year as the clubs main front sponsor.
Our Verdict
We think this is an exciting kit that gives Rangers a solid full kit lineup for the 2024/25 season. Its vibrant red and blue colours give off a great look and the design pattern is spot on for what they were going for. The sponsor is not the best and does bring the marks down a little bit unfortunately. Overall though it’s a very good effort from Castore and The Gers.
