Juventus 2023/2024 Third Football Shirt
One of The Giant’s of Italian Football spoiled us this year with 3 stunning kit releases, the pick of the bunch was the stunning Juventus 23/24 third shirt. The shirt comes in a beautiful grey colour with a basic, but super clean design that takes inspiration from the industrial infrastructure of Turin. The colouring of the shirt is also said to take inspiration from legendary Juventus Goalkeeper Dino Zoff, who made 330 appearances for the club and won a stunning 6 Serie A titles.
The Old Lady have secured UEFA Champions League for next season with one game to spare, but at time of writing are a huge 25 points behind leaders Inter Milan, who wrapped up the league title in April. Juventus haven’t won the Serie A Title since the 2019/20 season under coach Maurizio Sarri. The clubs current top goal scorer in the league this season is Dušan Vlaović with 16 goals.
Juventus were founded in 1897 originally by pupils from a local school in their home city of Turin. The club's traditional home colours of white and black originally came from the side wearing replica Notts County shirts during the early 20th century. The original home colours of Juventus were pink, but the colour would become faded after many washes. One of the side’s English players contacted a friend in the UK to see if they could help them find a new kit. The contact, who was a Notts County supporter, shipped over black and white kits for the team to use. Since then Juventus have always used these colours in their traditional home jerseys.
